This extendable dining table was designed to be visually lightweight whilst still being a stable and dynamic centrepiece for a clients dining experience.  The table was influenced by the clients’ stark and minimal interior taste and a desire to minimise the materials used in construction.  The fabricated steel legs are designed to create new geometric patterns when viewed from different angles, continuously evolving the interpretation of the piece.  Adding two additional leaves can extend the dining capacity; these are stored within the sliding draw and secured with integrated hardware.
